Maribel Guardia (San José, May 29, 1959) is a Costa Rican-Mexican television, theatre and film actress, singer, host and model.
Biography[]
She was a participant in the Miss Costa Rica pageant at the beginning of the year 1978, where she managed to obtain the title and, later, represent her native country that same year in the international Miss Universe pageant.
She was married to the Mexican singer-songwriter Joan Sebastian, separating from him in the middle of the recording of the 1996 telenovela 'Tú y yo', in which they both starred.
