"Segundo Sol" is a Brazilian telenovela written by João Emanuel Carneiro for Rede Globo. It's an original story that aired from May 14 to November 9, 2018. The main stars are Emilio Dantas and Giovanna Antonelli.
Synopsis[]
Beto Falcão is an axé singer with a decadent career. By mistake, he will be given as dead after a plane crash. Because of the national commotion, the sale of his CDs and DVDs will explode and the artist will resolve to keep the farce. He will change his identity and hide on a deserted island in Bahia.

- Working title for the show was 'De volta para casa'.
- Cauã Reymond was reserved for main role but the director opted for Emilio Dantas in that role.
- Rodrigo Lombardi and Reynaldo Gianecchini were considered for the role of the main villain. Vladimir Brichta was ultimately confirmed in the role.
- Herson Capri and Carol Castro were confirmed in the series, but due to script alterations they abandoned the project before the filming started.
- Suzana Faini and Stênio Garcia were confirmed in the series, but due to script alterations they were replaced with Natália do Vale and Odilon Wagner. After being confirmed in the role, Natália do Vale had to quit it due to medical issues. Cássia Kis Magro was then confirmed in the role.
- André Frateschi was chosen for the role of Groa before the filming started. The actor had to abandon the project due to theatre commitments. He was replaced with actor André Dias.
