"Soltero con hijas" is a Mexican telenovela produced by Juan Osorio for Televisa. It's an original story and it aired from October 28, 2019 to February 23, 2020. The main stars are Gabriel Soto and Vanessa Guzmán.

Synopsis[]

"Single with daughters" takes place in the exotic and colorful port of Acapulco and tells the romantic story of Nicolás Contreras and Victoria Robles, two opposing worlds that come together when they take a radical turn in the life of the other finding the spark of a sincere love that will change everything.

Nicolás is a bachelor with no apparent remedy, a "chavorruco" without responsibilities and inveterately addicted to fun and women, following his premise: "Always partying, but always dutiful." At the same time, Victoria is a spontaneous psychiatrist who is about to marry Mauricio until he cancels the wedding, hostilely breaking Victoria's dreams of being a mother and starting a family. By mere chance of fate, Nico and Victoria accidentally start hanging out in different places, starting their relationship on the wrong foot as a result of misunderstandings.

Nico's monotonous lifestyle is shattered the day his sister Cristina and brother-in-law Antonio die in a car accident, leaving his three nieces orphans: Camila, Alexa and Sofia. Because of this fact, Cristina entrusts her brother to take care of her daughters and never leave them unprotected. This leads Nico to take care of his three nieces and bring them to live in his bachelor loft.

From this moment on, Nicolás's life becomes a struggle to fill the gap of father and mother that the girls need, a role that he thinks he is not ready for.

With Victoria's help, this life challenge will become a prosperous path cultivated with happiness, added to a sudden love that they begin to experience, but not before going through different obstacles, like Captain Efraín, Victoria's father; Masha Simonova, a young Russian woman captivated by Nico; and Rodrigo Montero, a love from Victoria's past, who will oppose their union. Together with Alondra Ruvalcaba, a direct relative of the girls, who comes to Acapulco to claim full custody of the girls. Guided by their convictions, Nicolás and Victoria will open their hearts to learn from each other, overcome adversity, grow as human beings and realize that there is only one step from hate to love.

Trivia[]

  • Daniela Castro was initially confirmed in the role of Alondra. Due to unexplained reasons, she was replaced with Laura Flores.
